Accidental Silhouettes

For the past year I've been scrounging about for ways to represent silhouettes in my Cyanotype prints.

And yesterday I think I might have stumbled on something with my pocket-sized Canon Ixus:

From the windows of Kinokuniya cafe in Siam Square, Bangkok.

All day I was in that hungry, receptive state of readiness to turn whatever I saw into my artwork – something no creative can afford to ignore. I took over a hundred photos and think I may be able to take these shapes somewhere.

Or not.

I'm working on it.
